Show some leg!  In a small bathroom, maximizing visual floor space is key to making the area feel larger, and a great way to show more floor is to “show more leg”!  Consider sinks or furniture style cabinets that “float” above the floor on legs…or are wall mounted.  Appropriately sized accessories which sit on the floor – benches, stools, shelving units – should also be “leggy”.  If you’re bold enough to go for a graphic patterned floor like the one above, even more critical to keep other elements up and off the floor.
